Terms of Service

BookGlowi, LLC (“BookGlowi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a marketplace platform that connects clients (“Clients”) with independent beauty and grooming service providers (“Providers”).

BookGlowi is a marketplace platform — not a service provider.

We do not employ Providers, control how services are performed, or guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any service booked through the platform. Providers are independent individuals who use BookGlowi to find and manage their clients. All services are rendered solely between the Client and the Provider.

BookGlowi facilitates payment processing, communication, and booking management. We are not a party to the service transaction itself.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on BookGlowi. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@bookglowi.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may not create more than one account, impersonate another person, or transfer your account to anyone else without our written consent.

As a Client using BookGlowi, you agree to:

• Provide accurate personal information when creating your account
• Treat Providers with respect before, during, and after appointments
• Arrive on time for scheduled appointments or provide reasonable notice if you need to cancel
• Pay for services as agreed at the time of booking
• Leave honest, good-faith reviews based on your actual experience
• Not attempt to circumvent the platform by paying Providers outside of BookGlowi to avoid platform fees

Before booking an independent (unlicensed) Provider, you will be shown a clear disclosure that the Provider is not a licensed professional. You must acknowledge this disclosure before confirming the booking.

As a Provider on BookGlowi, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your services, qualifications, and license status
• Maintain an active subscription to remain listed on the platform
• Fulfill confirmed appointments or provide advance notice of cancellations
• Perform services in a safe, sanitary, and professional manner
• Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws governing your services
• Obtain all required licenses and permits for the services you offer, where legally required
• Not solicit Clients to pay outside of BookGlowi for services booked through the platform

Massage providers: Massage therapy services are restricted to licensed professionals only. If you offer massage services, you represent that you hold a valid license in your jurisdiction and consent to our verification process.

Independent providers: You acknowledge that BookGlowi permits independent (unlicensed) providers in most service categories. Your profile will be labeled “Independent Provider” so Clients are clearly informed. You are solely responsible for ensuring your services are legal in your jurisdiction.

Bookings are agreements between a Client and a Provider. Once a Provider confirms a booking, both parties are expected to honor the appointment.

BookGlowi sends confirmation notifications to both parties and provides a record of all bookings in your account dashboard. We are not responsible for services not delivered or delivered poorly; disputes between Clients and Providers are resolved between the parties, with BookGlowi serving as a facilitator where possible.

All in-app messages related to bookings are logged and retained for 12 months for dispute resolution purposes.

All payments are processed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. BookGlowi does not store your raw payment card data. By using BookGlowi payments, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

Platform fees are automatically deducted from the booking payment at the time a service is marked complete. The applicable fee varies by service category:

• Hair: 8%
• Nails: 7%
• Skin: 7%
• Barber: 6%
• Makeup: 7%
• Massage: 7%
• Pet Grooming: 8%

Providers receive their payout — minus the applicable platform fee — to their connected bank account. Tips paid by Clients are not subject to the platform fee.

Provider subscriptions are billed monthly ($9.99/month) or annually ($99/year) in advance. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. Fees are non-refundable once a billing period begins, except as required by law.

Clients may cancel a booking at any time before the appointment. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee as set by the Provider in their profile settings. BookGlowi is not responsible for Provider-set cancellation fees.

Providers may cancel a booking in exceptional circumstances. Providers who repeatedly cancel confirmed bookings may have their accounts suspended or removed.

In the event of a dispute regarding a cancellation or no-show, contact us at support@bookglowi.com and we will review the situation using messaging logs and booking records.

You may not use BookGlowi to:

• Post false, misleading, or deceptive information in your profile, posts, or reviews
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Offer or solicit services of an illegal or sexual nature
• Advertise or promote any business other than your own listed services
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce content from the platform without permission
• Circumvent security features, attempt unauthorized access, or reverse-engineer the platform
• Create fake reviews, manipulate ratings, or otherwise distort your reputation on the platform
• Use the platform in violation of any applicable law

Violations may result in account suspension or permanent removal from the platform at our sole discretion.

By posting photos, videos, captions, or other content on BookGlowi (“Content”), you grant BookGlowi a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and promote that Content on the platform and in marketing materials.

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to any Content you post, and that your Content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law. You are solely responsible for your Content.

BookGlowi reserves the right to remove any Content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is inappropriate for the platform.

All platform content created by BookGlowi — including the BookGlowi name, logo, design, and software — is owned by BookGlowi, LLC. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any of our intellectual property without our prior written consent.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in the BookGlowi platform.

Services provided as-is

BookGlowi provides the platform “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

No liability for provider services

BookGlowi is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or outcome of any service rendered by a Provider. All service-related disputes are between the Client and Provider. We encourage all parties to document their arrangements and communicate through the platform.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BookGlowi's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you paid to BookGlowi in the 3 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BookGlowi, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the platform, your Content, your services, or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which BookGlowi is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of BookGlowi shall first be submitted to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved after 30 days, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), unless you are located in a jurisdiction where mandatory arbitration clauses are not enforceable.

You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit against BookGlowi to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We may update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice in the app. Your continued use of BookGlowi after the effective date of any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically to stay informed of any changes.
